Four Chords and the Truth - Group guitar lesson series for adult beginners

October 1st - December 3rd, 2026

Have you always wanted to learn the guitar? This program is designed to teach total beginners everything they need to start playing in a relaxed, small-group setting.

Over the course of this ten-week program, you'll learn:

• At least four essential chords used in countless songs
• Basic strumming patterns and rhythm
• How to switch between chords smoothly
• How to tune and take care of your instrument
• A handful of songs, with your input on song selection

This program, like all of Maple Music Studios' offerings, will be individualized to students' needs and interests. We will work through the skills above at a pace that fits your group, spending extra time where it's needed, and making room to shift focus if there's something specific the group would like to learn. This lesson series is capped at 8 participants to ensure that everyone can learn at a comfortable pace.

Find Your Voice - Introductory vocal series for adults

If you love to sing and have always wanted to learn how to sing in harmony, this program is for you! Find Your Voice is a four-week introductory workshop series where participants explore singing with a group and singing in harmony.

In this program, you will learn:

• Effective warm-up techniques
• Basic vocal techniques and exercises to support a healthy singing voice
• Fundamentals for singing in harmony
• Two songs in harmony

Each session during the four week series will run for an hour and a half. Dates and times will be shared in the very near future. This series can accommodate up to 20 participants.
